INTO1 is a music record label with an accompanying comic series, built around a distinct creative universe that spans both sound and story. The brief was to build the entire brand from zero: identity, brand guidelines, apparel, record design, and more.


The core challenge was creating something that worked as a label, a publication, and a product line all at once, while feeling like one cohesive world rather than three separate things.

Problem / Solution

Building a brand for a record label is one thing. Building one that also needs to carry a comic series and translate across physical merchandise is a different kind of brief entirely. Everything had to feel connected, and it all had to stand out in a music space where visual identity is either forgettable or iconic.


The design process started by defining the world INTO1 lives in. The visual language draws heavily from comic and graphic novel aesthetics, raw and detailed illustration work, bold typography, and a colour palette built for impact. That world then had to flex across every surface it would appear on, from vinyl sleeves and apparel to digital brand assets and guidelines. Each deliverable was treated as part of the same universe, so whether someone encounters the brand on a record or a hoodie, it all points back to the same place.

Outcome

The result is a brand that feels like it has genuine lore behind it. INTO1 has a visual identity strong enough to anchor a label, expressive enough to carry a comic series, and versatile enough to live on physical products without losing any of its edge. It's the kind of brand that fans can genuinely connect with.
