Skillstacks is a physical card product for parents, built on behavioural science and ABA principles. Each stack targets a specific behavioural challenge, giving parents cards they can pull in the moment when they need quick, practical guidance. The brief covered everything from brand identity to the card design and packaging, all built from scratch.
The challenge was creating something that felt warm and approachable enough for a parent to reach for in a stressful moment, while still communicating the credibility of the science behind it.

Problem / Solution
Parenting through behavioural challenges is hard, and most resources expect parents to do a lot of reading before they can do anything useful. There was a gap for something more immediate: a tool that could meet parents in the moment and give them something actionable right away.
The brand was designed to feel grounded and calm, without being sterile or overly clinical. From there, the card design needed to communicate clearly and quickly, since the whole point is that a parent can pick one up under pressure and actually use it. Each stack was designed with its own visual identity within the broader system, making it easy to navigate between different challenge areas. The packaging brought it all together into something that felt like a considered, giftable product rather than a workbook.

Outcome
The result is a product that looks and feels as thoughtful as the ideas inside it. The brand and design system work across every card and every stack, creating a cohesive product family that can grow as new stacks are added. Skillstacks is designed to be something parents genuinely want to have close by.
